This box is made from walnut with maple splines at the corner, both of which are from our family's tree farm in Southern Missouri. The bottom of the box as well as the backing of the picture frame are made from quarter inch plywood.
Overall the box is 3.5" tall, 7.5" wide and 5.5" deep. The frame at the top of the box is 8" wide, 6" deep and holds a 4"x6" photo or memento. The top of the box is held onto the box body with two silver hinges.
